Andrew Carnegie Illio

Hi Folks!

A little while back, I was asked by the library in my hometown to create a poster for their centennial celebration. When I was growing up I spent a lot of time at the library, so it was an honor and delight to create this piece.

The client had two main requirements, that I must include the library and Andrew Carnegie (as the Newberg Public Library was originally funded by Carnegie). Below are thumbnails and a line drawing I made before I moved to the finish. One great bit of feedback was that I should make Carnegie's legs shorter because he had notoriously stubby legs, awesome! Thanks for visiting!
